Design Spotlight: The Mitz
It’s show and tell time!
New Brand Identiy Design For The Mitz
This is a brand identity project I worked on some time ago for a very unique space. “The Mitz” is a high-end meeting space that can be used for private dinners and tastings, corporate meetings and events, or studio space.
The building was originally a public bath house in Chicago and is only one of a handful that still exist today in the city.
Brand Personality
When the client originally came to me, we discussed how she wanted the branding to be sophisticated, with a slight air of mystery or exclusivity. We also wanted to play conceptually with some of the original bathhouse origins.
Brand Moodboard
This is the final moodboard we settled on: (Scroll to the bottom of the post to see some of the other moodboards.)
And this is the final Brand Identity Design developed from that:
Additional Brand Design Moodboards
The direction we took with the branding is absolutely perfect for the space, but looking back on these other boards, I can’t help but wonder how some of the others might have turned out!
Let me know in the comments: Which of these additional Brand Moods would you love to see turned into a full Brand Identity Suite?
